Job Description
Summary
A local manufacturer is looking to add a CNC Machine Programmer to their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in CNC programming, machining operations, and a passion for continuous improvement. You’ll be responsible for designing and developing CNC programs, training operators, and ensuring high-quality production standards. This is a 1st shift position with pay starting at $30/hr plus benefits and quarterly profit-sharing program. Apply today to be considered for this great opportunity!
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CNC programs, fixtures, and tooling for assigned cells.
- Optimize programs and cell activities to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
- Train machine operators and support cross-training initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and adjust machining operations to ensure on-time performance.
- Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, and layout using jigs and fixtures.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
- Experience with manual, NC, and CNC machining equipment.
- Proficiency in fixture design, conversational programming, and CAD/CAM.
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings, specifications, and programming instructions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and climbing.
