Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is partnering with a leading manufacturer to find a detail-oriented Assistant Pourline Technician to join their production team. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in foam production, operate industry-specific machinery, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you’re looking for a long-term career with growth potential, this could be the perfect fit! Hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (may require overtime depending on productivity and business levels).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining chemical inventory and setting up foam production equipment.
- Operate conveyor belts, RS flattening units, and poly film systems.
- Cut scrap foam and production samples to ensure quality standards.
- Record production data accurately and help troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Use a forklift to transport foam blocks, raw materials, and waste items.
Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Basic math skills, including fractions and measurements.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and physical environments.
- Forklift experience a plus (training may be provided).
