Job Description
Summary:
This Technician role is a hands‑on position supporting daily manufacturing and machine operations. You will work with production equipment, assist with setups, and help maintain consistent part quality throughout the shift. This role offers steady work, skill growth, and variety from day to day. Pay is competitive and based on experience.
- 1st and 2nd Shifts available
- Pay rate up to $30/hr
- Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Operate forging and production equipment according to established work instructions
- Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and standard start‑ups
- Inspect parts visually and with measuring tools to confirm quality standards are met
- Record required information on labels, tags, and production documentation
- Perform minor machine adjustments, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
- Support training of operators and assist with daily workflow needs
- Maintain clean work areas, tooling, and equipment throughout the shift
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to four years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read work instructions and measure parts accurately
- Comfort using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to thirty pounds when required
