Job Description
Summary:
This Punch Press Operator role offers a good pay rate, steady weekday hours, and the opportunity to work with modern turret punch equipment. This position focuses on precision metal fabrication and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machine work and takes pride in quality output. Experience with Amada turret punch machines is highly valued in this role.
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
Pay: $20.00-$23.00/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Operate punch press equipment for daily production runs
- Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
- Read and interpret blueprints and job instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Experience operating turret punch press machines, including Amada equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and measurement tools accurately
- Familiarity with basic machine maintenance practices
- Manufacturing experience in a metal fabrication environment preferred
