Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is seeking a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift This role is responsible for safely maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, installing, and occasionally operating production and building machinery and equipment.
- Hours: Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- Pay: $24-40/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting on production and facility equipment.
- Set up, install, and maintain machinery and assist with equipment changeovers.
- Execute emergency repairs and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
- Utilize CMMS to schedule, track, and document maintenance activities and inventory.
- Communicate with leadership and OEMs to minimize downtime and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Relevant experience in a trade or manufacturing environment with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Valid driver’s license and basic PC skills.
