Responsibilities:
- Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and code of ethics
- Perform inspections, testing, repairs, and replacements on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues using technical expertise
- Read and interpret maintenance procedures, engineering drawings, schematics, and process trends
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot new and existing equipment
- Complete daily maintenance tasks and log results in the computer system
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of work performed
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to improve safety, equipment efficiency, and product quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S practices
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 2+ years of maintenance technician experience
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, mechanical systems, and PLCs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable reading instructions, technical documents, and applying job requirements to ensure quality outcomes
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Solid math and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows)
- Team player with the ability to work across departments and functions
- Physically able to stand 8–12 hours, bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally push/pull up to 75 lbs)
