Job Description

The QTI Group is partnering with a growing, global manufacturing organization in Western Wisconsin to hire a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations during a period of significant growth. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role for a floor‑focused manufacturing professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments and leads by example.

This position will spend the majority of time on the production floor, partnering directly with supervisors and operators to drive safety, productivity, accountability, and continuous improvement across multiple high‑speed production lines.
 
Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 + bonus, plus comprehensive benefits package.
Location: Fully on-site in the Chippewa Valley area of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, on time, and to quality standards
  • Maintain a strong production floor presence, engaging directly with operators and supervisors to remove barriers and improve performance
  • Monitor real-time production performance and take immediate action to address issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, or cost
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, yield, quality, waste reduction, and downtime reduction
  • Apply Lean manufacturing principles, standard work, and visual management to strengthen operational discipline
  • Track and improve key production metrics such as line efficiency, output, yield, and quality performance
  • Lead, coach, and hold supervisors and production team members accountable to expectations and results
  • Develop training plans to ensure employees are properly trained and capable of performing work safely and consistently
  • Partner with maintenance, engineering, and technical teams to support production goals and sustained improvements
  • Support growth initiatives including new production lines, volume increases, and workforce development

Qualifications
  • Several years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Background in high-speed, continuous, automated production environments required
  • Strong floor-based leadership style with the ability to lead through growth and change
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement and team development
  • Comfortable working with shifting schedules and supporting multi-shift operations
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus, but not required
