Job Description
Summary
This role lets you turn raw sheet metal into finished parts that are used every day. You will work hands-on with modern fabrication tools and build skills across welding, cutting, and equipment operation. Pay is a competitive hourly rate with full-time, day-shift hours and overtime available as needed. If you enjoy practical work and learning new machines, this position offers steady work and room to grow!
Pay Rate: $21.91 per hour
Responsibilities
- Weld materials using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) or Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding
- Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, drills, saws, computers, and welding machines
- Set up and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and safe operation
- Move stock materials and load completed items into carts
- Inspect equipment daily to support safe and reliable use
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to seventy five pounds, with assisted lifting for items over sixty pounds
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Ability to raise arms above shoulder height and perform bending and twisting motions
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Understanding of safety rules and a proactive approach to safe work practices
