Summary:
Looking for a DIRECT HIRE hands-on manufacturing role with a schedule that provides built-in time off throughout the month? This opportunity offers a rotating 3-2-2 schedule, working 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, allowing you to work only half the weekends each year. Learn specialized equipment operations, quality testing, and bulk material handling in a production environment. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude who enjoy problem-solving and working with industrial equipment.
 
  • Hours: 3/2/2 Rotating Schedule 6:00pm-6:00am - Must be able to train on day shift Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts for 2 weeks. Once trained you may be expected to pick up mandatory overtime shifts as needed. 
  • Pay: $23.00/hr plus $2.00/hr shift premium for any hours worked 6:00pm-6:00am
 
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and operate soybean meal processing equipment to maintain efficient production
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on milling equipment and production systems
  • Conduct quality tests to verify products meet established standards
  • Load and unload bulk trucks and finished product shipments safely and accurately
  • Complete production records and required documentation throughout the shift
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area while following safety procedures
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and company operating procedures
 
Qualifications:
  • One to two years of manufacturing, production, industrial, or related experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a 12-hour shift in an industrial environment
  • Agricultural or farm experience is helpful but not required
