Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is hiring a Welding Team Member to join a fast‑paced manufacturing team in a DIRECT HIRE role. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting spot welders, robotic welding systems, and performing high‑quality stick welding. The Welding Team Member partners closely with the welding supervisor to ensure production goals and customer requirements are consistently achieved. Candidates with strong MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding abilities, along with Fanuc and Panasonic robot programming experience, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:00pm; Fridays as needed for overtime
Pay: $28.00–$33.00/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Operate welding equipment, including robotic welders, spot welders, grinders, and sanders.
- Perform set‑ups and troubleshoot issues on spot welding and robotic welding systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints to produce parts that meet specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and document data accurately on timecards and required forms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all PPE and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines and production targets.
- Report equipment concerns to supervisors and maintenance promptly.
- Support ISO9001 standards and contribute to 5S workplace initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Required: MIG, TIG, Spot, and Robotic welding experience.
- Required: Fanuc and Panasonic Robot Programming experience.
- Experience in metal manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
