Job Description

Summary:
The QTI Group is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations at a manufacturing plant. This role ensures consistent application of HR policies, drives employee engagement, and partners with plant leadership to maintain a productive and compliant work environment. The HR Generalist provides hands-on support across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and performance management.
 
  • Hours: 1st shift 
  • Pay: $67,000-$76,000 per year Salary depending on experience
 
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for plant employees, providing guidance on policies, processes, and programs. 
  • Facilitate new hire orientation, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring timely completion of required documentation. 
  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS system. 
  • Assist the HR Manager with employee relations issues, including investigations and corrective actions. 
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and communication efforts. 
  • Participate in annual processes such as performance reviews, open enrollment, compensation changes, and policy updates. 
  • Coordinate annual training requirements and maintain training records. 
  • Partner with payroll to support timekeeping, payroll changes, and attendance tracking. 
  • Assist with recruitment for temporary and permanent positions, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with employees and leadership.
  • Willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
