Summary:
Our company in Sun Prairie, WI is currently seeking an entry level Press Assistant to join their team and help maintain the commitment to excellence. This company takes pride on delivering high-quality prints and exceptional service. Work a 3-4 day week schedule with benefits included. In this role, you are responsible for operating and maintaining the printing presses to ensure the production of high-quality printed materials.
Schedule: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
Pay rate: $20.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate the print press machine to produce newspapers, books, magazines, etc.
- Assist press operator in monitoring the printing process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Adjust ink and color settings to fulfill desired results.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Keep accurate records of production and any issues encountered during printing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in machine operating or similar role
- Great attention to detail and well communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
