Job Description
Job Summary
A growing, local machine shop that does contract work and prototyping is looking to add CNC Operators to both their 1st and 2nd shift. This role focuses operating, adjusting and maintaining different CNC machines. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable making machine adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the shift. Responsibilities
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments and offsets
- Ensure parts meet quality and production standards
- Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate issues or needed adjustments to supervisors or 1st shift team as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Operator
- Ability to adjust and maintain CNC machines (programming not required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read basic work instructions and use measuring tools
