Job Description
Summary:
This full-time Senior Quality Technician / CMM Operator & Programmer will program and operate a Hexagon Global S Blue CMM with PC-DMIS software. You will measure parts, review documentation, and communicate findings with team members to help ensure products meet required standards. The job offers steady work, hands-on problem solving, and the chance to contribute to continuous improvement efforts. It is ideal for someone who enjoys technical work, detailed inspection tasks, and working closely with production teams to keep quality on track.
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 5am-3pm
- Pay range: $75K to $95K
Responsibilities:
- Program and operate a Hexagon Global S Blue CMM with PC-DMIS software
- Read prints, review data, and recommend improvements
- Assist with corrective action activities
- Complete floor checks and communicate findings to production teams
- Use measurement tools such as hand instruments and optical comparators
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Handle nonconforming materials and follow required procedures
- Use standard software to complete documentation
- Follow inspection techniques, standard operating procedures, and root cause processes
- Support internal audits
- Assist with ISO requirements and departmental goals
- Communicate clearly with production teams about issues that affect product quality
- Troubleshoot and support problem solving
Qualifications:
- Advanced experience programming PC-DMIS is ideal though those with experience in Calypso, PolyWorks,CAM2 , FARO arm are
- encouraged to apply.
- Ability to train team members in corrective action processes and methodology
- Ability to read prints and analyze inspection data
- Familiarity with ISO processes
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Bilingual capabilities appreciated
