Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group is seeking a DIRECT HIRE experienced person for their Shipping Department. This person will have previous shipping experience as well as Forklift, Electric pallet jack, shrink wrapping and palletizing experience. - Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00am-3:00pm plus Fridays 6:00am-12:00pm
- Pay: $23.38/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Must learn each products freight class
- Operate an electric pallet jack
- Cross train on Receiving duties
- Help maintain banding and stretch wrap equipment
- Help maintain inventory and storage of supplies
- Master the use of a calculator to ensure piece-counts are converted to correct carton quantities and that shipping weights are accurately calculated.
Qualifications:
- Must become in-house electric pallet jack certified
- Must be able to use hand scanner and label maker printers
- Must be punctual and have excellent attendance
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
