Summary:

The QTI Group is partnering with a local company to find candidates for a Warehouse Associate. This position supports daily operations by receiving, storing, and distributing products within the facility. This role includes inspecting shipments, preparing and packaging orders, and maintaining accurate inventory. You will also use a forklift to move items around. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following safety standards. This is a direct hire position with benefits starting on your first day!

Responsibilities:

Assist with inventory management and control.
Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers, safely and efficiently.
Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety standards (OSHA compliance)
Prepare orders for shipping by picking, packing, and verifying items with precision.
Support warehouse distribution activities, including stocking, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and materials handling
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements

Qualifications:

Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of inventory management and stock control techniques
Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with reach trucks, cranes, and heavy equipment is highly desirable
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and order pickers
