Job Description
The QTI Group is partnering with a leading metal manufacturing organization to hire an Industrial Maintenance Technician. Direct Hire
openings on 2nd and 3rd shift! In this role, you will help ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems.

- 2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment and facility issues, including complex electrical problems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, preventive maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.
- Accurately document maintenance activities and repairs using computerized maintenance systems.
- Assist with the installation, startup, and troubleshooting of new equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and independently resolve emergency maintenance issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve safety, quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Prior industrial maintenance experience required.
- Experience maintaining and repairing industrial mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, preventive maintenance procedures, and technical instructions.
- Proficiency using computers and maintenance software to document work and track repairs.
