Job Description
The QTI Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the growing team of an industrial services company in the Dubuque area! This direct hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, automotive repair, diesel mechanics, HVAC, or equipment service who enjoy troubleshooting, working independently, and building strong customer relationships. This position offers a 1st shift schedule, competitive pay, full benefits, and a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on air compressors and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in the field.
- Repair, replace, and install equipment components as needed.
- Travel to customer sites using a company vehicle to complete service work.
- Complete detailed service reports and maintenance documentation.
- Provide professional customer service and communicate repair recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, automotive service, diesel mechanics, HVAC, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Air compressor experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to work independently and professionally at customer locations.
