Job Description
Summary:
A local printing company in Madison is hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join its production team. This role will be trained specifically on rotary die cutting equipment and is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and interested in developing a skilled trade within the print and print-finishing industry.
Pay: $20.75
Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Operate and learn rotary die cutting equipment in a print production environment.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust machinery to support quality and production goals.
- Identify equipment issues, troubleshoot problems, and take initiative to keep work moving efficiently.
- Work closely with team members while maintaining dependable attendance, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
- Dependable, quality-focused, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Previous rotary die cutting, Bobst, die cutting, or print-finishing experience is highly desirable but not required.
