Job Description
The QTI Group in partnership with our client, a post-frame construction company located in Mazomanie, WI, is looking to recruit and hire a hands-on Maintenance Lead to be responsible for upkeep of plant equipment and the building’s mechanical systems.
General knowledge of electrical, carpentry, welding and mechanics are required and a CDL Class A license, or ability to obtain one is preferred.
We’re seeking a positive, motivated and flexible candidate with leadership initiative to join the team and help keep personnel and equipment up and running. This is an on-site, full-time, 1st shift role with an Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) organization.
Responsibilities Include:
• Routine shop maintenance, grease and oil machinery, change oil, fluid & filters
• Perform weekly and monthly scheduled inspections on equipment
• Resolve plumbing system clogs, verify sprinkler systems air pressure
• Maintain tools and maintenance area of plant
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Maintain a broad knowledge base of equipment condition, read and interpret machine manuals, document repair record
• Full understanding of lock out/tag out procedures and risk assessment
• Demonstrate safe work practices, self-motivation and common sense daily
Education Requirement:
• High school diploma or GED
