Job Description
The QTI Group is excited to partner with a Brookfield-based managed service provider to hire their next Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer will serve as a trusted technical advisor to various clients. This role blends advanced infrastructure design, hands-on support, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical lead for assigned clients, managing their IT environment
- Design, configure and maintain infrastructure components, including servers, networks, firewalls and more
- Implement and support cloud services in Azure, M365 and SharePoint
- Perform server migrations, visualization deployments and network upgrades – both on-site and cloud environments
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to Helpdesk teams, managing escalated tickets
- Collaborate with Account Managers to perform Strategic Business Reviews with clients
Qualifications
- 4+ years of IT Infrastructure experience, MSP or consulting environment preferred
- Strong technical proficiency in Windows Servers/Desktops, Microsoft / Azure, VPN and VLAN and network switches
- Hands-on experience utilizing virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V)
- Strong documentation, time management and client communication skills desired
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
