Job Description
Summary:
Our valued client, an award-winning wealth management firm, is in search of a Wealth Advisor/CFP to join their team! This position is onsite in Wausau WI, full-time Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Pay is competitive based on experience and licensure, and competitive benefits are available. Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients for new or ongoing financial planning relationships.
- Develop tailored recommendations, and prepare planning deliverables.
- Conduct client meetings, deliver recommendations effectively, and address client questions and concerns.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, ensure follow-up actions are completed, and update client records accurately.
- Stay informed on economic trends and market changes to guide strategic portfolio adjustments.
- Evaluate clients’ financial goals, and provide appropriate investment recommendations.
- Develop and deliver financial solutions, guiding clients toward informed action on financial advice.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in wealth management
- CFP highly preferred
- Licensure required: Series 65 or Series 66
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse group of people and businesses
- Strong math skills
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn information, and work with little supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of both client and staff information
