A manufacturing facility in the Oconomowoc area is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team on first shift. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity focused on maintaining equipment and supporting facility operations with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.
A manufacturing facility in the Oconomowoc area is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team on first shift. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity focused on maintaining equipment and supporting facility operations with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.
- Monday through Friday with flexible start times between 6:00am and 8:00am
- Full time hours with consistent schedule
- Pay ranging from $30.00 to $39.00 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Repair building structures including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, and foundations
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems within the facility
- Use knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to diagnose issues
- Maintain machinery to ensure proper working condition at all times
- Perform general maintenance including carpentry, heating and cooling, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, painting, and masonry
- Follow safety policies and report any concerns or violations immediately
- Prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs
- Wear required personal protective equipment at all times
- Follow food quality and safety procedures
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience or an industrial maintenance certificate
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Basic math and reading skills
