Summary
This 1st shift Saw Operator position offers steady weekday hours and hands-on work cutting a variety of metal materials.In this role, you will operate horizontal band saw equipment and work with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys precision work and contributing directly to production flow.

This position is well suited for someone who enjoys precision work and contributing directly to production flow.
- Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
- Pay: $21.00-24.00/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automatic or manual horizontal band saws
- Cut materials according to blueprints, shop orders, and specifications
- Measure and inspect materials for accuracy and defects
- Change saw blades and perform routine daily machine maintenance
- Label and organize cut and leftover materials properly
- Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- Experience operating saws or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, shop orders, and measurements
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and rulers
- Basic math skills for measurements and material tracking
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks
