Summary:

Join our team and take charge as a skilled machine operator, mastering the setup and operation of our spring coiler machines. We're looking for candidates with a proven track record in punch, brake, CNC, or manual press operations. If you're ready to showcase your expertise, we want to hear from you!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- Must be able to train on 1st shift.
Pay: $22.01. plus $0.55 shift premium once moved to 2nd shift.
- Pay range over time up to $27.45 with earning raises every 6 months!

Responsibilities:

Operates and sets up the spring coiling machines
Installs and adjusts all tooling required to coil the springs
This position requires knowledge of machine tool capabilities, machinability of materials and shop math
Reads and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, machining methods, and sequence
Moving, loading and unloading materials utilizing forklifts, hand truck or crane
Completes the coiling of the springs according to the work order

Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, plant rules and policies, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Must be able to read a caliper
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Experience with machine set ups
