Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group has a great direct hire opportunity available! Our client, a high-quality pet food production facility, is looking to add a Warehouse Operator to their 1st shift. Qualified candidates will have previous shipping and receiving experience.
- Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm
- Pay: $20 per hour plus sign on and perfect attendance bonuses
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders form picking list utilizing RF scanners
- Stack pallets using best practices to maximize space and stability
- Stage orders in advance of customer arrival for loading
- Load trucks according to shipping schedule
- Safely and proficiently operate all assigned material handling equipment (stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, turret truck, reach truck, pallet jacks, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Must have previous shipping and receiving experience
- Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs.
- Standing, stretching, reaching, and bending a
- Accurately and quickly perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Excellent depth perception and judgement of distance, combined
- Able to work in various temperatures including extreme heat, humidity, and co
