Job Description
Summary:
The QTI Group has a great DIRECT HIRE opportunity available! Our client, a high-quality pet food production facility, is looking to add Warehouse Operators to their 2nd shift schedule. Qualified candidates will have previous shipping and receiving experience. Apply today for consideration!
- Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm.
- Pay: $21.00 plus sign on and perfect attendance bonuses
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and stage customer orders from picking list utilizing RF scanners
- Stack pallets using best practices to maximize space and stability, while minimizing potential damage
- Load trucks according to shipping schedule, and in a manner that maximizes trailer capacity and stability and minimizes in-transit damages
- Safely and proficiently operate all assigned material handling equipment (stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, reach truck, pallet jacks, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Must have previous shipping and receiving experience
- Ability to consistently lift 50lbs, from floor level to top of pallet (up to 84”)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately and quickly (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Ability to work in various temperatures including extreme heat, humidity and cold
