Job Description
Summary:
Join a growing custom manufacturing team where no two days are the same! In this full-time CNC Mill Machinist position you will work on a wide variety of projects using both CNC mills and lathes while producing precision parts for customers around the world. - Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm
- Pay: $35 to $45 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, edit, and operate CNC Mills
- Manufacture precision parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Read and interpret blueprints, routings, and work instructions
- Perform routine machine maintenance and identify potential equipment issues
- Assist with tooling and equipment recommendations to improve efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience with both CNC Mill operations
- Ability to create new programs and edit existing CNC programs
- CAD/CAM experience preferred
- Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including geometry and trigonometry
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
