Job Description
Summary
This hands-on role offers steady work using a variety of shop equipment in a production setting. You will keep materials moving and machines running while learning new processes along the way. Pay is competitive for the local market, with a full-time schedule and overtime available when needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical tasks and clear daily goals.
Pay Rate: $21.91
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment such as shears, routers, drills, saws, computers, and welding machines
- Set up and adjust equipment for safe and accurate operation
- Move stock materials and place items into carts
- Inspect equipment daily to support safe operation
- Follow assigned production tasks and priorities
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to seventy five pounds, with assisted lifting for anything over sixty pounds
- Ability to bend and twist up to forty five degrees
- Ability to raise arms above shoulder level
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Ability to follow safety rules and work in a proactive, safe manner
