Summary:
We’re seeking a Branch Manager to lead operations and drive growth at one of our community-focused branches in the greater Madison area. This full-time role oversees daily branch activities, consumer lending, and team leadership while fostering strong customer relationships and community engagement. Hours: Mon–Thu 9:00–5:00, Fri 9:00-6:00, occasional Saturday rotation 9:00-12:00 with time off during the week to balance hours. Competitive salary based on experience $50,000-$60,000 per year plus performance-based bonuses (ranging 10-15%) and comprehensive benefits package.

- Manage branch operations and supervise 4–5 team members.
- Drive deposit and loan growth through business development and referrals.
- Oversee consumer lending (auto, debt consolidation, HELOC) and basic underwriting.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and training to branch staff.
- Monitor branch performance, expenses, and profitability.
- Represent the bank in community programs and events.
- Approve transactions and credit requests within lending limits.
- Maintain branch security and safety standards.
- Participate in Saturday rotation and adjust weekly schedule accordingly. (1-2 Saturdays per month)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years banking experience (branch management preferred).
- Knowledge of consumer lending and underwriting processes.
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Ability to meet sales goals and build community relationships.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking systems.
- Advanced math and analytical skills for loan and account review.
- Valid driver’s license for occasional travel between branches.
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and community involvement.
