Job Description
Summary:
Join a growing manufacturing team where precision and quality matter. This role involves operating forging machines to produce parts that meet strict specifications. You’ll monitor equipment, identify defects, and ensure smooth production runs.
- Pay rate up to $32.00/hr
- Mon.-Thurs., 9:00AM-7:00PM
- Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Operate forging machines and monitor performance to maintain product quality
- Perform start-ups and set-ups with minimal supervision
- Inspect materials and finished parts for defects
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues
- Document production activities accurately
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate hand tools and automated equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor processes
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
