Job Description
The QTI Group is seeking a full-time Residential Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in the East Madison area. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys hands-on tasks, takes initiative, and finds satisfaction in creating well-maintained, welcoming living environments. The right candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a positive outlook, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Compensation:
- $25+/hour, depending on experience
- Additional pay available during on-call shifts
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
- Participation in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance needs
- Occasional weekend work as required
Responsibilities:
- Check in with the Property Manager each day
- Address maintenance requests and perform repairs with professionalism
- Maintain clean, safe, and orderly interior and exterior grounds
- Manage inventory by purchasing and restocking necessary supplies
- Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks
- Prepare apartments for new residents, ensuring units are move-in ready
- Work alongside contractors and vendors when needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience maintaining multi-family housing or similar buildings
- Consistent work history showing dependability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in both indoor and outdoor conditions
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-centered attitude
