Job Description
Summary:
QTI is partnering with a local company to find a full-time Maintenance Technician to join a growing team and support the upkeep and daily operations of their buildings. Buildings are located in West Madison and Fitchburg communities. This role you will be performing a variety of general maintenance tasks and utilizing online work-order software. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, solid time‑management skills, self‑motivation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
Pay: $25 per hour or more based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm with rotational on call schedule
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day maintenance and facility management to maintain the aesthetic and functionality of our multi-family properties
- Complete assigned work orders and projects in a timely and effective manner
- General cleaning and maintenance in all building interior/exterior common areas (painting, drywall work, garage cleaning, landscape maintenance, etc.)
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections
- Meet with vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion/billing for work orders and maintenance items
- Assist with apartment turnovers
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of hands-on multifamily maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Availability for rotating on-call for after-hours emergencies
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
