Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Foundry Floater to join clients manufacturing team. In this Direct Hire role, you will perform a variety of foundry operations, from mold preparation and finishing to assisting with molten metal pouring. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, pay close attention to detail, and take pride in producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00am-12:00pm plus overtime as required. When in OT could come in as early as 2:00am and stay as late as 2:00pm as well as Saturdays when needed. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of foundry duties, including de-waxing molds, melt assistance, knockout, cut-off, and rough finishing.

• Follow work instructions and established procedures while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

• Assist the pouring team with molten metal operations in a safe and efficient manner.

• Inspect work to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

• Assist with maintaining accurate process documentation and production records.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work in a high-heat manufacturing environment.

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift.
