This role acts as the highest-level escalation point for maintenance issues and plays a key role in continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and team development. This role acts as the highest-level escalation point for maintenance issues and plays a key role in continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and team development. It is ideal for a highly skilled technician who enjoys solving complex problems and leading by example.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am plus overtime as required
Pay: $34.54 plus $1.50 shift Premium for any hours worked after 3:00pm
Responsibilities
Serve as the escalation point for complex equipment failures and advanced troubleshooting
Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to four hundred eighty volts
Troubleshoot motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and automated systems
Perform advanced mechanical repairs, fabrication, and welding as needed
Oversee and support preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues
Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing downtime and improving efficiency
Support facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and structural needs
Qualifications
Extensive experience in industrial maintenance, including electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to troubleshoot high voltage systems and automated equipment
Experience with fabrication, welding, and equipment modification
Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and reliability concepts
Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing, defined as a system focused on reducing waste and improving efficiency
