Job Description

We are seeking a Material Handler to support our Injection Molding department in Dane, WI. This role is responsible for staging materials, performing material and color changeovers, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting machine operations, and ensuring raw materials and finished goods are moved efficiently throughout the production process. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Schedule:  2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Overtime Available


  • Pay: Up to $27.75/hour based on experience
  • $3,000 Sign-On Bonus


Requirements:

  • Stage raw materials to support production schedules and machine operation.
  • Perform material and color changeovers while maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management through backflush and Kanban systems.
  • Set up and maintain material dryers and perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
  • Ensure proper labeling and movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Support press operations and provide coverage as needed within the Injection Molding department.
  • Identify and report defective materials, quality concerns, or equipment issues.
  • Assist with training new employees on equipment operation and standard work procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience and willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, material handling, or production environment.
  • Experience operating injection molding equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, production documentation, and work instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience working with manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
