Summary

A local food packager is looking for Quality Control Technicians to join their team to help protect the integrity, safety, and quality of their products. This role is essential to keeping our food manufacturing operations compliant, consistent, and customer ready. This is a Direct Hire position 1st Shift Monday - Thursday schedule. Pay starts at $16/hr with room to grow and offers weekly production bonuses and benefits. Responsibilities
- Observe production processes to ensure proper GMPs and quality standards are followed
- Document and report findings, quality holds, and corrective actions
- Conduct product testing
- Manage retain samples and complete pre-shipment quality reviews
- Assist with audits, inspections, environmental swabbing, and sample prep for external labs
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer and email skills
- Ability to work in cold environments
