Job Description
Summary
This hands-on 1st Shift Direct Hire role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision tools and helping keep production running smoothly. You will focus on maintaining and repairing molds while supporting daily manufacturing needs. The position offers steady full-time hours and the opportunity to learn advanced tooling processes. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, and pay is competitive based on experience.
- Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00am -2:00pm plus overtime on Saturdays as required 5:00am-10:00am
- Pay: $20.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Maintain molds to ensure they stay in ready-to-run condition
- Perform mold repairs while minimizing production delays
- Work with engineering teams on updates or adjustments to tooling
- Follow safety procedures to keep work areas clean and organized
- Document work performed and share updates with the next shift
- Complete production and quality logs accurately
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficient in Metal Inert Gas welding and Tungsten Inert Gas welding
- Skilled in detailed mold repair work
- Able to operate and become certified on a forklift
- Experienced using tools such as welders, torches, hoists, saws, grinders, drills, and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
