Job Description
Summary:
This Brake Press Operator role offers excellent pay, steady weekday hours, and hands-on work with precision metal forming equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working from blueprints, setting up equipment, and producing accurate parts. It plays an important role in keeping production moving efficiently and safely.
- Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Pay: $26.00-30.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate brake press equipment according to job specifications
- Form metal parts by bending and shaping material accurately
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measurements
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform routine checks and minor adjustments to equipment
- Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area
Qualifications:
- Experience operating brake press equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes preferred
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently during production runs
