Job Description
Summary:
Are you a welder looking for a change of scenery? A Westfield manufacturer is looking for a MIG welder with at least three years of experience. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, will be able to work independently or with a team, and will maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety. Shift Schedule: 6am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday
Pay: $17
Responsibilities:
- Lay out and perform specific weld operations and set ups.
- Follow work instructions, work orders, and blueprints.
- Use jigs, holding fixtures, guides, templates, and measuring instruments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience as a welder in a manufacturing setting
- Good math skills (decimals, fractions)
- Ability to understand written materials (including but not limited to instructions, blueprints, parts lists, charts, safety and quality standards, etc.)
