Job Description
The QTI Group is partnering with a leading metal manufacturing organization to hire an Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical troubleshooting capabilities. In this role, you will help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment by performing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC‑related maintenance.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Compensation
$32–$38/hour, based on experience
Additional on‑call compensation

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and facility issues, including complex electrical problems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and PM procedures
- Log maintenance activities using computer systems and maintain accurate records
- Install and troubleshoot new equipment (Level 2 and above)
- Independently solve complex facility and emergency maintenance issues (Level 3)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with technicians, engineering, and supervisors to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including motors, controls, wiring, sensors, and basic PLC diagnostics
- Experience performing maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, PM procedures, and technical instructions
- Computer proficiency for logging maintenance activities and using maintenance systems
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently
